Conversations In Nosgoth - Chapter Eleven
Two Hylden in the entrance hall, near the captive demon:
First Hylden:
Have you permission to torment that beast?
Second Hylden:
I need no permission to hate it.
First Hylden:
Hate, cousin? Why?
Second Hylden:
I hate every living being from that place. I await the moment when all of it is destroyed.
First Hylden:
Ahh, as do we all. And the creatures here, do you hate them as well?
Second Hylden:
I hate them as well.
First Hylden:
Soon they will all die, and we will have at last our destined revenge.
Second Hylden:
Yes, our destined revenge...
A Hylden threatening, then killing a slave:
Male Slave:
It's not possible! I beg you!
Hylden:
When you were but hairless apes cowering in caves, we gave you all that you had.
And now, we take it back.
Male Slave:
No! (Screams)
Two Hylden talking in the room closest to the Hylden Gate:
Hylden Warrior:
It cannot matter, it is too late. We are destined to win this battle. So it is known to us all.
Hylden:
But who of us knew that one of his cursed race would come this far?
This disturbs me.
Hylden Warrior:
We need only be vigilant, cousin, to prevail.
He cannot kill us all.
