Legacy of Kain: All Pillar Symbols
The design of the Pillars of Nosgoth has changed a bit over the course of the series. Most notably, there has been a change in the Pillars' symbols, as seen in a coloured band around each column. The original Blood Omen designs were replaced with simpler, stylised symbols in Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2 and Defiance. These were far more abstract than the earlier versions; it was harder to distinguish which pillar was which, but the symbols were better suited for decorative use, in places like the Defiance Reaver forges. There were no distinct symbols on the Pillars in Soul Reaver, although plain coloured bands remained.
The Defiance symbols are from the Defiance Fansite Kit, made available to fans during the prerelease publicity for that game. It was downloaded from the official Defiance site (UK) at Eidos 
, but that website is no longer active.
