The Abyss

The Abyss The Abyss was a large whirlpool, located in the Lake of the Dead, surrounded by cliffs and fed by waterfalls. It was the execution ground for "traitors and weaklings" in Kain's empire.

The Sanctuary of the Clans The Sanctuary of the Clans was the building constructed around the remains of the Pillars of Nosgoth, the seat of Kain's vampire empire.

The Necropolis

The Necropolis The Necropolis was the territory of the lieutenant Melchiah, and his clan: the Melchahim. It was adjacent to Raziel's former territory.

The Silenced Cathedral The Silenced Cathedral was located in eastern Nosgoth. It was Zephon's keep; inhabited by Zephon himself, his descendants - the Zephonim - and a number of Vampire Worshippers.

The Tomb of the Sarafan

The Tomb of the Sarafan The Tomb of the Sarafan was the burial place for a select few of the vampire-hunting Sarafan order. The place had been "impenetrably sealed" but now "ravaged by Nosgoth's upheavals, its mysteries lay exposed."

The Ruined City of the Dumahim The city was the territory of the lieutenant Dumah, and his clan, the Dumahim. It was located north of the Abyss.

The Chronoplast

The Chronoplast The Chronoplast once belonged to Moebius the Time Streamer. It was a device built into a large room with multiple tiers. It could create a portal that would allow someone to travel through time.

Nupraptor's Retreat

Nupraptor's Retreat Raziel found the ruins of Nupraptor's Retreat. It was overrun by Melchiah's clan. Most of the skull had fallen from the cliff top, and the waterfall appeared to have long since dried up. The Stone Glyph Altar was concealed in the area surrounding the landmark.

The Fire Forge [SR1]

The Fire Forge [SR1] The forge was designed to enhance the Soul Reaver. When Raziel bathed the wraith-blade in the flames of the forge, he primed it to become the 'Fire Reaver', enabling it to be imbued with fire at any future time.
